See my coat of arms as a heritage is my last name, it comes from Carmanova, Moldova. I'd luv to travel and see the place we fled to from the war. Homeland. It wasn't that long ago. One or two generations. Hmm, I want to help spread the good word. How can I reach out to a church. Oh wait I already have. I will if he says there's a way.

I have bipolar II , which means that my lows are rougher and longer than my highs. I was diagnosed somewhat early because my father was also diagnosed with bipolar a number of years earlier. I have never been on one medication for longer than a year. I'm almost 40 and bipolar can become harder to control as we get older. God is the only power that works against my symptoms on a consistent basis, but that doesn't mean I'm functional. Despite how much work I put into my career, I've had to let work go little by little because I'm just not stable enough. At the moment, I can't leave the house without an antianxiety medication taking effect because of the side issues you can often have in conjunction with bipolar. For me, that's anxiety and agoraphobia as well as a few other tidbits. God working in your life through your cycles sometimes is the cross we have to bare. It's the storm he sits next to us through instead of taking away. Sometimes you're angry, but mostly, at least, me, I get tired. I get sick of being sick and the energy it takes to do basic tasks is tremendous. There's also the side effects of medication. It's complicated. Bipolar dictates so much of my life, it's hard to separate it from myself. Being a Christian who has bipolar is hard to understand, but He does make broken into beautiful. You just have to stay as close to Him as possible to get through each agonizing part of it. But for everyone, bipolar is a little different for all of us. Some of us find that medication that works for us for 20 years and you'd never know. That's not my story. I have to deal with a lot of shame about that, but I know who to talk to about it. Just remember that just because we're suffering, it doesn't mean that we're far from God or don't have faith.

Please pray for me. I am a 53. year old man in the darkest corner of any human ever. My brain will not let me sleep and I am suffering from Fatal Insomnia. It is a slow horrible death. I have lost everything. I unfortunatley brought it all on myself through sin and selfishness and I look back on my 'christian' life with disgust. How I ever thought I was saved. There was no repentance anywhere. I need a complete mircale to get my sleep back. If I do not get it back I will die the most horrible death hallucinating to the worst of any man who ever lived. I am on so many tablets to get knocked out at night and after 5 months last night they stopped working and I only got 3 hours light sleep then I lay awake my brain refuses to sleep. If I do not get a mircale from this I know am unforgiven and will be punished in hell's worst chamber for eternity.

God is not good, nor fair. I have never once heard of anyone with Bipolar 1 being cured. No amount of prayer will ever cure them. Makes you start to wonder if prayer truly works or if things were going to happen that way anyways. Faith as small as a mustard seed doesn’t really move mountains. It’s r really sad when people are taught this all powerful God lives you, yet does nothing to help you. Not really something I want to follow anymore.

As a Christian mom of an adult child with bipolar, I feel the judgment coming out of this video. They don't even know what to say to this person until she starts talking about the power of God delivering her. There's very little compassion to her struggle but then everybody wants to cheer when she says God brought her through. People need support while they're in it, not just after they're out. The body of Christ has a really hard time dealing with mental illness and homosexuality. They just don't know what to do with it and that's why so many people in the church struggle in silence and condemnation. Most Christians don't believe MH issues are real and they certainly don't want to admit that their child has those challenges.

I agree. I felt that as well and wanted to try to watch the full video before getting the comments. They diverted from answers to the hosts' roundtable question about do they believe everyone struggles with some sort of mental illness at some point. The answer should have been a resounding yes. Depression, anxiety, eating disorders, OCD, PTSD, and ADHD are common mental illnesses! Many people don't want to associate themselves or their family with a "mental illness" so they pick and choose what they accept as being a mental illness which, to me, can be a trait of borderline narcissistic. Love to EVERYONE!!!❤

It’s the charismatic perspective that is judgmental. I’m bipolar II and can’t tell you how many people told me to get deliverance or rebuke past sins. Left a lot of church hurt for me until I left that denomination.

This is my reply to one of the commenters on this page ruclips.net/video/C4Lv-RFEFwI/видео.html, Max W. May it help you also, if you could use it: I had sad moments in my early youth also , I didn't even knew who my mother was, when I first met her at the age of 4 years old. I just grabbed my panier, and waited for the next leg of the plane journey to continue. Sadly had to accept that this stranger was my mother everyone I knew in life was gone, except my little sister. I became very sad...my only party was pity partying. I decided that happiness was a better party than a pity party...even my best music eventually became sad. So I immediately chose to not be sad anymore, I became happy and optimistic. I became convinced that no one was made to suffer, and became a considerate and caring person to others well being. When the bible made me see that God was like that too (He cares how all persons are doing, at any moment in their lifes). Since we seem to have an important thing in common; I ask Him to be my best friend. Scripture shows He has many best friends. People who meet him, think He is the finest person in exsistance and learn to deeply appreciate Him. I would ask max to find out if He cares about him too. God loves everyone as He loves Himself and anything that good. I pray (in Jesus name, according to God's will, that He shows max, that He is the best trust there is. That can help you learn to trust others who deserve trust also.

I’m so glad you did this story because it gave me comfort marrying my now husband who is diagnosed with bipolar years ago. He truly is the sweetest, loving, supportive, hard working and patience man; everything I wanted in a spouse. On our first date he was straight forward and said I have bipolar, which did catch me by surprise. I had heard of the word but really didn’t know much about it beside “these people are crazy”. I later asked him why he told me on our first date and he said because it’s something he not ashamed of and actually okay for people to know so they can get a better understanding of those who have bipolar and show that they are not dangerous or crazy. He also liked me alot and didn’t want to further his feelings if I didn’t accept him. I’m glad now that I have a better understanding of any mental issues and an still learning. This video gave me comfort and was a video clip that helped me share to my mom that her soon to be son-in-law has bipolar. Thank you for helping me share to my mom who I was so nervous to tell sadly because of the Christian thinking that can put a stigma on mental health.
